A Little Bit About Me.

I’m so glad you’re here! I love a great story, more than anything. I want to bring them to life. I always want the audience to have as much fun as I’m having! I love kids and run a local children’s theater program. I received my classical training and my BFA in Theatre Studies from Boston University. I also completed the B.U. in LA acting for Film & Television program. I performed at the debut Tribeca Theater Festival as one of my favorite characters Cripperella in Cripperella or the Cracked Glass Slipper. I was only briefly a NYC based actress much preferring the LA weather and general vibe. My bias most likely born from the fact that I’m a native Floridian (We DO Exist!). I’m currently based in the good old sunshine state, but more than happy to travel. I love an adventure! I studied abroad in Dublin as an undergrad. I love Shakespeare, desert, serial killer shows, Bob’s Burgers, a great book, Disney and my golden retriever!

Revoluntionists Stageworks 2018

Surprisingly enough, the one character who does manage to stay interesting throughout The Revolutionists is Marie Antoinette, played coyly by Katie Calahan as a spoiled, childish, but also ironic pawn of history, neither deluded by the perks of royalty nor reconciled to her final condemnation. There’s nothing queenly about Calahan’s Marie; she comes across as fragile, understated, simple in her enjoyment of life on the upper rung, but goodhearted too, and not nearly smart enough to affect the events whirling around her. This is a wholly unexpected, memorable performance.”

Lab Theater Project 2021

“Robertson mines the script’s ample humor with delightful performances by Katie Calahan (Tommy/turtle), Miles Randolph (Michael/fox) and Ricardo Fernandez (Dennis/giraffe).”
